Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor - Must be Licensed in NV
Job Description:
Manages and coordinates the substance abuse clinical/program modalities. Participates in program structure/design with therapeutic supervisor and provides clinical evaluation, treatment planning and individual and group counseling.
Provides individual, family and group counseling to adolescents with substance abuse problems
Determines causal relationship between substance addiction, socio-economic factors and personality traits
Designs and implements treatment plans identifying goals to be achieved
Coordinates with other treatment team members when specialized services required
Works cooperatively with community agencies in the coordination of rehabilitation services for clients
Counsels family members of clients to provide emotional support and provide information
Reviews case records and refers clients to medical or psychiatric services as appropriate
Participates in the evaluation of counseling methods for the effective treatment of substance abuse related problems
Prepares correspondence and reports as required
Properly documents client’s progress on charts
Assists in coordinating and synchronizing substance abuse and service plan issues
Meets with clinicians to report observations and reactions to clients and to review clients progress

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
College level courses related to treatment of chemical dependency required and A.A. degree preferred.
Requires a current Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor. LADC/LCADC
Community clinic, psychiatric hospital or residential placement experience required and knowledge of rehabilitation philosophy preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and organization skills required.
Experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor. Knowledge of rehabilitation philosophy required.
Basic typing and PC skills required.

Part-Time Property Maintenance
Job Description:
Property maintenance is essential to every apartment community, and it is the maintenance team that carries out this vital role. Charged with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and performing routine and emergency maintenance of all kinds, Maintenance Technicians must have a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service; the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action; superior customer service skills; and a great attention to detail. One or more years of hands-on general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, and appliances required; experience in painting a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school and/or military training or industry designation (CAMT or CAMT II) a plus. Valid drivers license, car, and your own tools are a MUST. Bi-lingual English/Spanish speaking is a plus. Some weekend availability, and rotating on-call responsibility for after hours emergencies required.

Residential Technician - Substance Abuse
Job Description:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Monitor, educate and assist residents in performance of activities of daily living in accordance with goals and problem area identified on individualized treatment plan
Participate in continuing education activities, remaining knowledgeable in areas related to substance abuse treatment
Attend meetings as appropriate and meet regularly with supervisor and peers to exchange pertinent information and to receive supervision
Maintain client and program records in accordance with applicable standards and regulations
Interact appropriately with any and all visitors, family members, and care providers of residents
Carry out responsibilities pertaining to the efficient and therapeutic operation of the facility, including all events, activities and outings, utilizing safety management, emergency procedures and non-violent crisis intervention
Monitor client's administration of medications
Assist with inventory and general maintenance of supplies, facilities and equipment
Perform cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor
Interact with clients in a confidential, therapeutic, and responsible manner maintaining a high level of ethical conduct
Manage crisis and emergency situations involving residents
Transport residents to and from appointment, groups and other activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent plus two years of paid, voluntary or family behavior health experience OR Associate degree required.
Flexibility to work any shift preferred
Oral and written communication skills
Knowledge and skills in educating clients in daily living skills
Observation and decision making skills
Experience in implementing group activities helpful
Valid driver's license
Knowledge of substance abuse / addiction issues or related work experience would be beneficial
