OUR PROGRAM 

At Nevada Homes for Youth we understand the devastating consequences of alcohol and substance abuse.  Which is why it was so important for us to create a comprehensive program that would provide our clients with the essential tools and solutions necessary to help them get on a path to recovery and independence.  

We believe that a balanced approach to recovery and prevention are imperative to the success of our clients, which is what makes our program so unique.  In addition to treatment, we provide each client with not only the ability to become free from alcohol and drugs, but we also provide them with the necessary knowledge to completely re-shape their lifestyle including nutrition, fitness, well-being, education and job skills.

STAFF & FACILITY

The Nevada Homes for Youth treatment center is licensed by the state of Nevada.  It is a 4400-sq. ft. facility, so our clients can focus on their recovery in a safe and secure environment. Led by Ronald C. Moore, MSW, the NHY staff is made up of certified drug counselors and experienced professionals.  Nevada Homes for Youth provides both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for at risk adolescents in southern Nevada.

TREATMENT OPTIONS

OUTPATIENT / AFTER-CARE PROGRAM

  • 1 hour visit, 1 - 3 times per week

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions

  • Drug testing

  • Family re-unification

  • Mediation

  • NA/AA - 12 Step Program

  • Match clients with sponsors/mentors

anger management & Corrective behavior classes

  • Comprehensive course providing coping techniques for managing anger, and how to correct negative behaviors

  • Instructor: Ronald C. Moore, MSW

  • Location: UNLV Campus

  • Date: Check course schedule

  • Time: 12:30pm - 3:30pm 

  • Cost: $25.00 per class. Space is limited

  • Math tutoring is also available upon request

INPATIENT PROGRAM

  • 6 - 8 months intensive treatment

  • Live-in facility including room and board

  • 24 hours a day, 7 days a week care

  • Focus on a balanced approach to recovery and prevention, including nutrition, fitness, self-esteem, well-being.

  • Education services in accordance with Clark County School District and Online education

  • Provide individual, group and family counseling

  • Drug testing

  • Family reunification

  • Mediation

  • NA/AA - 12 Step Program

  • Match clients with sponsors/mentors

  • Guest speakers
